Ms. Dana Trickey, Eagle Clan, is a Birchbark Basket Maker, Porcupine Quill worker, and a Wild foodie. Living and working in White Earth Nation for most her life she considers this place her home. As a Quillwork Artist and Birch Bark Basket Maker, Ms. Trickey practices several styles of Quillwork, primarily on Birchbark, and knows many styles of Birch Bark Baskets. Along with knowing these art forms she teaches harvesting practices with Maple Sugar, Wild Rice, and Wild Mushrooms. She is excited to share with you the traditional ways of working with birchbark.
