Roots of the Red River Valley: photographs from the 1937 sugarbeet harvest

Some 80 images, the work of photographer Russell Lee from the U.S. Farm Security Administration, tell the story of sugarbeet harvest in 1937. Images include perspectives from farmers, migrant workers, and the factory in East Grand Forks, Minn., the first sugarbeet processing plant in the Red River Valley. (Images taken near Crookston, East Grand Forks, and Fisher in Polk County, Minnesota)

Regular Gallery Hours (open to the public)
The show will remain open in Bede Ballroom from November 5 - 9 and can be viewed from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm (except on Wednesday, November 6 the Gallery will be open from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) . 

Parking is free in Lot A during gallery hours.
