About this Event
During this data-driven presentation, Dr. Sylvia Bartley will share how she manages her emotional health with mindful practices based on her experience with neuroscience and spirituality.
Dr. Bartley will share why she believes in the intersectionality between spirituality, neuroscience, and emotional health. She will discuss the SMART Wellness framework, rooted in cultural wisdom and modern brain science, that she uses to manage her emotional health. She will also share why she views her depression as a gift that helps her seek guidance from within and give back to her community in profound ways.
With her book “Turning the Tide: Neuroscience, Spirituality and My Path Toward Emotional Health", Dr. Bartley hopes to break down the stigma of emotional health and inspire others to do the same.
